Short version (the headline)

I help sustainable products and brands succeed.

With a mix of product design, go-to-market planning, branding, communications, and partnerships, I create products that people relish and brands that people rally around. My work spans food to tech to financial services to sanitation.

I'm on a charge to make food more sustainable, healthy, and humane. So let's catch-up about plant-based proteins and cellular agriculture!

Longer version (the deets)

I believe purpose-driven businesses drive a more just and sustainable economy. I believe our increasingly complex and urgent global challenges require solutions born from interdisciplinary dexterity. For this reason, I focused my career on integrating social impact with business value.

I'm a great partner for teams in need of compelling brand strategy, actionable communications, relevant products, and impactful programs. Most recently, I've focused my consulting practice on my passion to make food more sustainable, healthy and humane. I served as Strategy and Marketing Lead to help cultured breastmilk company, BIOMILQ, get started and get funding. And I led consumer insights to identify new product opportunities for plant-based beverage development at a large food and beverage company.

I've been lucky enough to work with North Carolina Dept of Commerce, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Nova Credit, and EBT Medical among others. I continue to work with BBMG and Humancraft on a consulting basis.

At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, I helped NGOs create technology for social impact through the open innovation program, Living Progress Challenge. Solutions range from a data analytics tool to identify illegal trade to a mobile app for womens' community savings groups.

I co-founded and led, Clarity Project, a fine jewelry company with a bold mission: to leverage the power of the diamond industry to support development in impoverished diamond mining communities. During that time, I translated the notion of a “development diamond,” into reality, leading a team to launch a responsible artisanal diamond mining operation in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

I led brand strategy, innovation and sustainability projects at BBMG. Working closely with my clients, I crafted simple, compelling brand platforms and marketing strategies to inspire movements and drive positive change.

Both before and during grad school, I conducted ethnographic, design research with Bagatto (now Humancraft). We revealed human motivation through in-depth interviews, and we transformed insights into design principles for new products and services.

In 2014, I earned my Master of Business Administration and Master of Environmental Management degrees from Duke University.
